General Washing Instructions
Washing
Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water whenever possible. If the care instructions for the specific fabric allow machine washing, use a gentle cycle and place the garment in a laundry bag. Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colors using a mild detergent.
Do Not
Do not bleach, soak for extended periods, scrub vigorously, or wring out. Avoid harsh detergents and excessive friction. Fabric softener is not recommended for stretch fabrics, as it may affect elasticity and breathability.
Drying
Gently press out excess water without twisting or wringing. Reshape the garment while damp, then lay flat or hang to dry in a cool, well-ventilated area. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry unless otherwise stated on the garment care label.
Ironing / Steaming
Iron or steam only when necessary. Use a low-temperature setting and iron on the reverse side whenever possible. Avoid excessive heat, especially on delicate, synthetic, or stretch fabrics, as high temperatures may damage the fibers or affect elasticity.
Fabric-Specific Care
All Cotton
Cotton garments absorb moisture easily, so store them in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place. Hand washing or gentle machine washing is generally suitable. Turn the garment inside out before washing and drying to help preserve its color and printed details. Avoid prolonged exposure to strong sunlight.
Lace
Hand wash gently in lukewarm or cold water. Do not bleach or machine wash unless specifically indicated on the care label. Avoid rubbing, twisting, or wringing. Keep lace away from jewelry, watches, zippers, and sharp objects that may cause snagging. Lay flat to dry and avoid direct sunlight. Avoid ironing when possible; if necessary, use very low heat.
Denim
Wash denim inside out in cold or lukewarm water with similar colors. Hand washing is recommended to help preserve the original color. Do not use bleach. Avoid prolonged soaking and direct sunlight. Air dry inside out and use low-temperature ironing if necessary.
Chiffon
Hand wash gently in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent. Do not bleach, scrub, or wring. Keep away from sharp objects to prevent snagging. Hang or lay flat to dry in the shade. Use low-temperature steaming or ironing only when necessary.
Fur / Fur-Lined Garments
Due to the nature of the material, slight shedding may occur during the first few wears. Machine washing is not recommended. Professional dry cleaning is preferred. If hand washing is permitted, do not twist or wring. Gently press out excess water and lay flat or hang to dry naturally. Avoid high heat.
Down
Hand washing is generally recommended unless otherwise stated on the care label. Use a mild or neutral detergent. Avoid strong detergents, bleach, vigorous rubbing, and excessive squeezing. Lay flat or hang to dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Once completely dry, gently pat and shake the garment to restore the down's natural loft and softness.
Chemical Fiber / Synthetic Fabric
Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent. Gentle machine washing may be suitable depending on the garment construction. Do not use bleach or expose the fabric to high heat. Hang or lay flat to dry in the shade. Use low-temperature ironing or steaming only when necessary.
Cotton & Linen
Hand wash gently in cold or lukewarm water. Avoid prolonged soaking and vigorous machine washing, as this may cause shrinkage or deformation. Do not wring. Reshape while damp and air dry away from direct sunlight. Iron at a low to medium temperature on the reverse side.
Stretch / Spandex Fabric
Hand wash in cold water or machine wash on a gentle cycle using a laundry bag. Avoid bleach, prolonged soaking, vigorous rubbing, fabric softener, and high temperatures. Gently press out excess water and air dry naturally. Do not tumble dry. If ironing or steaming is necessary, always use a low-temperature setting to protect the fabric's elasticity and shape.
